HS-635HB Servo

Hi to all, i have change my servo on my R50SE to HS-635HB for Aileron, Elevator and Pitch. Would like to know for normal flying is it enough? Below is the spec.

HS-635HB
Speed-0.18 at 4.8V
Torque-5KG at 4.8V
Dual Ball Bearing
Karbonite Gears

mexx...it will take you into loops rolls and inverted....

No doubt about it...when you do some serious 3D in the future,...then you may consider HS6985 OR HS5945MGs

Hi Art thank for advice. I downgrade my servo from hitec 6985 to hs 635hb.

good choice...it's not easy to fly with fast servos...besides...you will not notice alot of difference till you 3D

Hi Art yes i got a hirobo evo90 still in the process but not so soon be flying that bird. The 6985 i was thinking of putting into my evo90.

shelf the evo la...learn to thrash the r50 before you venture out..

Hi Art yes the evo90 still NIB. And R50 is for my learning. 6985 still not good enough for evo 90?

Hi Art wow did not know that. Which brand of servo is good for evo 90? Futaba 9255 or 9252 enough to take the stress?

I am using a 635hb on the alieron on my r50 and I think it is more than enough. However, I had a 635hb on elevator died on me and the heli did continous loop to the ground, no pretty.

Hi Baby_zyklon thanks for tip. So what servo you use for elevator? How did the servo die on you? Sorry if i ask.

i got them on my Avant, i had 6985s and 5945s on my evo90 - hated it!
cannot centre properly, and if u just put the horns on them, and try to move it (out of its centre) u can actually do that... with my Futaba servos it is deadlock centered...

Hi ethinger thanks for the tip. Will take note on the centre issue. I was looking at 9151, 9252 and 9255 dont know which one is good.

i'd take the 9255
9252s are very accurate, but dont know how they will last on the pitch...

those are the ones u listed, but i'd go for the 9451s....
if u dont want the metal heatsinked 9350s..
