Anyone have the technique to lift off honey bee T?

I am struggling to lift off my honey bee and attempt to hover in the air.
Everytime i increase the throttle slowly, the heli will slide to the left.

Should i increase more on the throttle speed when honey bee starts to slide toward the left?

    Any suggestions?

One technique that many newbie lack in is ability to trim the heli.

The only way to trim a heli is to fly it then trim it. Some may ask, then how I suppose to trim when I cant even fly it?

Yeah, answer is simple and straight forward - U need someone else to trim yr heli. Once it is properly setup and trimmed, you then proceed to learn with the "correct method" Only this way will make yr learning curve easier.

If u insisted to try w/o others help, then I suggest u draw a box 1 feet by 1 feet on the floor and attempt to keep the heli in the box while slowly increasing the throttle. Keep doing it making sure tail is pointing towards u at all time. U should be able to hover one day.....

Here's the link to Mike's suggested white box technique. Pretty good. Promises to get u hovering in 10 battery packs if u follow it striclty

hi, here is my limited experience:

            1) if it slides to the left its quite common, just apply a little aileron to the right while you throttle up slowly.

            2) if the head turns to the right, meaning high trust on the tail rotor, adjust the rudder slider to the left.

            3) use training skids.

            4) key thing about this heli is that your fingers have to be quick. with time, you will know how your heli will behave so you anticipate its behaviour.

            5) like most, if not all, helis you need constant input to the sticks to keep it stable.

            6) make sure your batteries are well charged. it is difficult to trim with weak batteries.

            GOOD LUCK!!

I found a cheater's way to get it up in the air, slightly elevate the left skid, no more than 0.5cm. It will reduce the tendency to move towards the left and make it easier to get it to hover, u can then trim from there.

just apply left aileron then it won't slide. it slides due to the thrust of the tail rotor.

don't suggest doing that, a training skid is a better alternative, and its cheaper then a crash repair.
