managed to wire my dragonfly to my PSU. Using my the 12v rail from my HEC 450W psu juice out a max of 17A. But since i using brush, so i guess i only used about 10-12A. Will post video later

imho,
you save some batt weight, but you still add some wire weight.
you gain more fight time but you lost the heli freedom.
gain some loss some.

don't forget to rest you heli often, or your motor/electronic will not be able to take it.

Safety

safety:
forget to mention, stand near to the power source, so you can off it immediately if there is a need.

you might want to add a device that will retract the loose wire to prevent the blade/wire from tangle.
