I know have two Airskipper always flying in Tampines ind ave 5 at sat and sunday afternoon, one is Japan and other is copy by China, they look like the same,only different is China have metal head,maybe you can take a look

me maiden the Airskipper50 yesterday.(not mine )

can't say much about the flying charateristics as was just doing hovering and
fig8s.engine(hyper) is still only 5 tanks old.just flying at half throttle.

heli tracked well on bench & on flight.smooth feel overall.however tail heavy.

will tune the engine for power this coming holidays,and wll try to wring the heli as much as i can only if the owner allows me.

Raptor2001sg, would you mind doing a comparsion between the airskipper and its clone? Flight performance wise, part quality, etc ,etc. Might go down to see see look look if I can but I stay in the west...from your nick I would assume you have own a r50 before? How much difference are they in flight?

btw, I got this dealer's number from bran dealing with the hurricane50, $690 for the basic version which I think is selling around RMB2000(sgd400+) in china. Not much cheaper than the jr airskipper, might not be worth getting the clone, but haven't seen the product yet, maybe the quality is good.

I did some research and found that the hurrican 50 is available in 3 versions, fg frame, black cf frame, grey cf frame, however, our local supplier only has the fg frame version. Now I am thinking...Airskipper vs hurrican, airskipper is true japan quality, comes with cf frame instead of fg and only $160 more...

However,the fact that the airskipper can be had in japan for $600 seems to suggest a VERY high mark up by the lhs.
