i saw one guy have it, according to him he said he is one of the very few that has it, or he is the only one that has it, its not a clone. its actually better in quality and built according to RR.
hope to see it in your hands soon...

Well, review i got was that it is an Airskipper clone.
Read that the blade will go out of track sometimes, but that's the characteristic of stock airskipper without a change to harder damper too.

Would be great to check the mechanics out and see some flying action before I put my $ down on the long awaited & overdue airskipper50.

Clones kill creativity. It's like buying pirated VCD. Worse still, it's unknown if the clone undergoes QC. Main blades can fly off. It's no joke when the rpm is so high.

well, JR can only blame themselves for their lousy marketing and product support in this part of our world.

Airskipper have been launched more than a year ago, but I've been waiting till so long that I gave up waiting.

I am in the creative biz. Creativity is worthless if one doesn't strike while the iron is still hot.
I can write the best script for a hollywood blockbuster, but if is it not produced into a film, there is no product.

If I bring my script to two different production companies to produce it. One company takes a year to film it and release it, and the other takes 8months to do that, and releases to the big screen first...who will get to earn the bulk of the business?


I dunno what's the deal with this Hurrican50 heli, but for the benefit of doubt, if I am the designer of this heli, and I sell part of the rights of the design to JR for production and JR doesn't put in effort to do it right, depending on his contract or terms, the designer will have the rights to move on and find another manufacturer to get his products out in the market.

But of coz, if the story is the other way round, with pirates copying parts for parts, and using cheaper alternatives for manufacturing, then this is downright unethical.....And usually such outcome can be seen in the product quality itself....

If it's really just a clone with poor quality, then the heli won't survive.....if my assumptions is correct about the designer of the heli moving on, we can expect to see better improvements to the build and quality of this 'clone'.

From my very early conversations with the manufacturer, there was a guy locally who expressed interest in carrying their heli.
Although they had offered dealership to me as well, however I think it'll be better to allow the first guy to come to a decision whether to bring that heli into Singapore or not before I give the manufacturer a proper reply.

In case anyone knows the guy i'm refering to, pls convey the msg that the manufacturer is still trying to contact him for his reply.

the heli and spares was brought in 4 weeks ago by a friend. pm for details. looks very yummy and a high quality clone of the airskipper

How different does this hurricane 50 fly from the airskipper 50? If this is a clone I would think the spare parts are interchangable? Are they?
