    Trex Bellcrank hitting screws

    Hi,

Recently I noticed my Trex tail bellcrank gets hit by the screws when the rudder servo turns maximum right as shown in the photo. It will also affect the headspeed due to the friction created. After I file the bellcrank off to clear the screws, it becomes much smoother.

I wonder whether anyone else experience this.

If u use older V2 bellcrank... yeah... you may have that problem. XL series bellcrank already have a groove on it to prevent it. If yours is XL type, maybe your tail linkages screw too loose (not tighten in a bit)

The easiest way to gauge the screw tighten is to screw all the way in, then un screw for like 90 Degree back or when u can feel the linkage can free turn.

Mine is a XL. And even with the screws very tight, the bellcrank will still hit it. Maybe I got my XL with a V2 bellcrank.
