NewBie Here, need some help on repairs

    Hi everyone,

I recently bought a entry-lvl X-1 flyfairy and I somehow crashed it till the tail rotor motor seize funtioning. The main rotor still fine.

I try to dissemble the plastic covering but it seems to be futile. I hope someone preferably the east side could help me with it. I do not mind bringing it down to the place of your convince. My contact is @ 96806859, name is Alex.

Can see the pics from the links. And yes, this is a cheapo RC toy heli.
I wanna get the hang of controlling the RC heli before I commit to a decent heli. No point getting a 500 plus heli and crashing it to pieces

I cant gauge the size of the heli but i think its similar to the esky tail motor.

But do chk if the motor wiring has been cut or if it has just come loose. If u r running on the original setup don think the motor will burn so easily

If it's a burnt motor, you can try finding a replacement in SLT, bring the motor to each shop to ask and you should be able to find a suitable replacement.

I think the Esky's tail motor might be a bit too big for it, if I'm not wrong, the motor is those pager sized one, something similar to the X-Twin motor.

But since you mentioned that it was a crash, most likely its a wire connection problem

The wiring is fine, I suspect the motor is damaged due to impact. I do not dare to pry it open , I mean the plastic covering , anyway, I have remove the screws holding it but still unable to open it. I fear if I use force it might further damage to it. I appreciate if any bros here have some free time to help me out , as I stated earlier I do mind bringing it down to your place if U could help. Im willingly to pay a reasonable fee if necessary. Thank you for reading my thread.

I need help cuz Im not sure what exactly happened to it, hope it helps. As I mentioned , the wiring are intact from what I see. I know how to solder but I do know how to troubleshoot. As I know SLT have such parts.

Tell u honestly, no bro would dare open if u also dont dare to open the cover. I'm free to take a look but too bad i stay in Jurong.

Anyway if u intend to change the motor, can it be replace w/o removing the cover ?

Do u have a multimeter ? Chk if there is any power to the tail motor.

Maybe thos motor used in those coaxial heli...sold in Rotor Hobby can fit in. Go rotor hobby and look for the motor... it is on the 2nd roll of spare part (counting from the left. The one also got screws and nitro fuel tubing)

you can use a penknife to open up, then use some tape/ca to seal it again.
if you don't mind the looks.
