what an impressive machine. a few weeks back, i saw an even more impressively engineered machine at bukit batok FC called the jr slyphide 90. what a work of art! here is just the central core of the slyphide, and what to me, is the nicest piece of precision engineered aluminium...
It's indeed a piece of engineering art...then again...I'ld be terrified to fly such a machine...imagine the price to pay when I crash...and I WILL crash....
I think the bottom line is to fly a machine which is affordable....the 90 SE comes as a medium ranged pricing sports edition...to better the likes of xcell and such....for it's price...the performance may be forgiven...I dare say that XCell makes better machine for F3C etc...hirobo too...but I'm sure the 90se will stand out because of it's pricing and parts support from walter....calculated it to be at about $4500 w/o TX if I were to buy....an equibilant from X Cell or Hirobo will cost Muuuuch more...like in the range of $5000 - 6000.....
no way am I gonna 3D a $4000 machine
90SE - $1448
GY601/9251 - $680
OS91 C Spec pump Engine + tuned pipe - $700
GV1 - $257
Sanyo Sub C 4Cell - $68
Hitec 5945MG x 3 - $400
Hitec 322 x 1 - $30
Futaba R149DP - $ 225
TT Carbon mains - $150
Funkey carbon tails - $35
other accessories - $100
yeah, i saw the price for the sylpihde 90 on rotor. $5600 yikes. suppose its just a pure competition machine. the guy selling his second hand sylphide was pricing it at $2000, even more than a new rappy 90se

This is what a R90 may look like when it crashes...
