Mass order ? usb RC- joystick interface

Hi , I'm thinking of getting the following USB interface for my 9cap:

    Mile High Wings

This makes our transmitter PC joysticks ! so we can fly proper flight sims like the microsoft ones.(have been wanting to do this for years)in addition to the not so proper ones like FMS heh
It looks like one of the better deals around though not the cheapest.

Anyone want to order as well ?

    there's a gameport one for 30USD too.

The shipping's not very much at 9USD,so we're really not talking serious savings or anything but was wondering if anyone else wanted to try this out with me.

Actually we've managed to assemble a wiring harness to link up the tx to the computer's parallel port for less than S$5. We then used a joystick emulator program to map the input from the tx to a virtual joystick.

            Go to this site.

            FMS Model Simulator

Do a search on the Manual and you will find out how to build a simple harness for the tx. I'm using the Hitec so I can't tell you which pin to plug into for the port on the futaba tx but Phiber has done it with a 9CHP.

After that you need a program called PPJoy which can be found here: PPJoy

That's great but i'm still not sure i'm able to get all the stuff i need together.

what do i do about my tx side plugs? guess i can use my old rd6000 or old hitec flash, but are the silly futaba 9c plugs a standard plug thing that i can get at sim lim as well? i'd much prefer using my futaba.

go to shs and get a 9chp DSC cable....it is only about $10 and can be used with a bit of wiring to get the sim to work ..its very easy ..... and cheap ...under $15 all up.

hmm which shop in sim lim did you get your stuff ?

The 9C silly plug setups' just different as far as the physical plug shape is concerned right ?

                            Hi guys,

Check out my post, hope it gets to a sticky so all of us can
benefit from the DIY RC Cables..

Rotor sells the 9C RC cable at $110!!
And i made one for <$5...

Even if we make and sell at $50.. heh.. still profit 450%!! ;)

Then again, i think those come with PIC..
But Rotor's seem too simple to have PIC..

Anyone need help, feel free to PM me..
