    converting dragonfly into brushless

    hi all
My feda is currently using a brushed esc that power both main and tail rotor. If i were to convert into brushless, can i still use that esc to power up the tail, which i intend to run on brushed?

No. U need to get a brushless one.

It is depend on whether u want to go 100% brushless or 50% brushless.

Some go 50% brushless.... which is either main motor or tail motor is brushless. The other is just a normal brushed. Some go 100% brushless whereby both motor is brushless.

For 50%, going Brushless for Main, then u can use back your mixer board's ESC to power tail. If u using non heading hold gyro and non Revo Mixing, then u need Y cable to connect Throttle channel to both Brushless ESC and the mixer board.

For tail going brushless only will be a bit tedious.
