    Don't Rust

Just want to shair, came across this and make me remember of my friend. Because he bought a 2nd hand heli and never check everything. He just rush and build it up. So when he is in the flying field the new 2nd hand heli, Everything went wrong, Engine head lose, Muffler flying out. glow plug shot out. Flybar lose. Wow this really dangerous.

Very important advice that I give to all the members of my club when they buy a used heli.

    1. Tear the heli down and inspect all. I know you will want to go start it up, the moment it arrives at your house, but take the time and tear it down for an inspection, or you will be tearing it down after the crash to replace the broken parts !

    2. Open up the engine and look inside. Make sure everything looks good. No rust in the bearings. If your bearings look rusted, remove and replace with ceramics.

    3. Check and replace your fuel lines and filters.

    4. Check your pitch range and tail range
