Tips on tightening bolts and nuts of engine

when tighening the head bolts use a star pattern, dont tighten one beside another like in a circle pattern. i tried the circle pattern and my engine was so oily after each run i took the engine out and then tried the star pattern tightening, it works with fewer oil on the engine keep the surface clean before tightening just wanting to share the experience with fellow flyers

yes, of course its better. it spreads the load evenly so that there's no distortion of the metal.

this is the same method as for tightening bolts on car rims....
actually, what you do is just screw in every bolt first - do not tighten yet
then tighten them by using the star method.
