    Trex enquiries once again!!

Hmmm.. im posting this on behalf of alamin2. He needs some recommendation on suitable and cheap gyros for trex.

And also one more thing not forgetting, can a gws gyro be used also for trex??

I don't think the GWS gyro will perform too well on a T-Rex although it can be made to work. I'd say get the GY240 someone is selling here for $130 or $120. That should be good. The next step down in price would be the RCE-500 which I saw someone selling at around the $70 - $80 mark. That works quite well too. If you buy them new, they're all over a hundred bucks.

I maybe wrong but I do notice that GWS PG's gyro is only suitable for ESC i/p like HoneyBee tail motor. For servo i/p, it is very SUXY!!

for align gyro, there is a known problem with the positioning of the gyro, as mis-positioning it will cause problems with holding the tail.
              Hover: STILL many many
              FF: so-so; fig 8s, nose-in hover
              Crash (Major): 4
Back to flying... let the goods times roll

As I said... It maybe possible to use BUT hor... chances that u are busy fighting the tail instead or worse, tail wag! Don't risk it or waste it. Try to get a reasonably good gyro. GY240 looks good. Align gyro...well no experience on it so no comment.

Go for futaba 240 AT LEAST, else u'll regret in no time to come.
Gyro is not an equipment to save on at all
