need help on align esc programming

    hello ppl,
i was juz trying to programme my align 25A esc that came wif the trex XL HDE kit.

i place my throttle stick to the highest and turn on the TX( insturction says so)
then i plug the esc into the 3rd ch( throttle ch) on my electron6
then i plug in the batt.

first i get the confirmation that the esc is working ( which goes lyk beep beep beep)

this is the part whr the prob comes,

the confirmation that my tx is found is not played...
it did not play the ( beep beep beep beep) i waited for a very long time stilll no song played...
it cannot continue from there too...

    can anyone plz help mi

    really appreciate ur help...

You may have to reverse your throttle. Try starting with the throttle in the lowest position and see what happens (do this carefully as you raise throttle later). You will also want to look at your throttle curve and make sure you are getting the full range from it for a start.

One more thing, I'm assuming that you're using a Futaba or compatible controller. If you're using a JR controller, then the throttle is on Channel 1 rather than 3. Just making sure you got this one right.

        hi daniel,
im using the optic 6 tx. on the manual it says ch 3 for thorttle.

when i place the throttle stick to the lowest i get inot the using mode. then no sound.
when i try to move the stick up the motor doesnt start too.
all the servos connected to the rx will not move too when i move any of the sticks..

        need help again thnkx

Did you check your shift polarity? If you're using 72MHz or 29MHz, this may be a problem. The Optic 6 allows you to switch your polarities. You may want to check that.

Check ur motor wire to esc connection.

Check ur soldering between the plugs.

Try shaking the wire to check if there r loose fit.

                hello ppl,
                thnkx for all the replies.

mugenrsg: i bought the whole optic6 set at rotor and did not touch it till yesterday when i wanted to porgramme the esc.
At rotor the man did test it out for mi and it was working.

Daniel Wee: im on 72.650Mhz and the selectable shift in the tx is set to negative(should be for hitec if im not wrong)
Daniel wee would u mind explaining more abt the polarities. im not very sure abt tat.
and can u explain to mi wat might be the problem using 72Mhz range. srry abt tat im very noob at tis

Adrianli: my wires dun not seem to be loose.

do i have to change to lyk idle 1 or juz stick to normal mode?

Normal mode is ok for normal flying, taking off - hover around - land
idle-up is when you need to maintain the headspeed for advance flying.

this time i try the using mode. i placed the throttle stick to the lowest the connect the batt to esc.
waited quite awhile( is this normal?)
then got 3Xbeep then wait again for awhile the 4X beep then wait awhile longer then got 1) beep
                      2)beep beep
                      3)beep beep beep

you might want to check you norm/rev for your throttle on your Tx again,

sound like you are in setup mode when your tx stick is at the lowest position.

please refer to the manual again

for safty reason, please remove the blade or gear.
