    2 flaps and 2 ailerons

recently bought a glider with flap and aileron on each side of the wing.

Wonder how to program to control the flaps and aileron separately, without using a Y.
Each has a dedicated servo to it.

    I hv a JR dsx7, JR dsx9 and a Spektrum Dx8.

    advice needed.

    thank you.

sorry, forgot to state that each servo to be each controlled by a channel.

Using dx8, simply enter setup mode by pressing and holding the scroll roller and power on. Then, go to wing type and select the appropriate setting for the number of servos, flaps. Etc. then you are done. Save and exit.

Elmosan is correct on the wing type selection.

If you haven't done so, you should update your DX8 firmware which has the sailplane mode. Very useful for glider setup.

ya, thanks for the advice from all.

I hv chosen the 2 ailerons 2 flaps option in the wing type.

But still cannot figure out which channels to which servos for these 4 servos.
Read thru the sailplane manual but not stated in there.

Sorry, newbie here, a bit ignorant.

Go here for manual. Follow photo for servo assignments. I'm sure if you follow the same sequence on your rx it should work.

              Do you feel the RUSH....!!!!

Ral is right aileron. Rel is right elevator. You can figure the rest.

                    thkq very much bro Hawkeye.

Ya, i hv stumbled on the "servo setup" and the "monitor" screens too in the function setup and all the channel assignment is clearly shown.

                    pardon my ignorance.
