Woohoo ! ...I've maiden the Tomcat at BR yesterday evening.
Was there around 5 pm and nobody around except for joggers and other park users.
The wind was very light but in the right direction so I threw my Alula up to test the lift, struggled to keep her flying until I reached the air above the treelines and suddenly POW ! ...up she went !
Quickly landed the Alula, assembled the Tomcat and launched her.
Trimmings were spot on I didn't have to touch the trim levels.
After a few circuits and with the stress level disappearing, I found that she flew like a Gentle Lady.
After gaining sufficient height, a dive reveal that the CoG was spot on at 98mm (from LE measured at the wing roots) as she came down straight as an arrow without any tendency to gradually pull up or tuck under.
The stress returned when I attempted the landing, this thing picks up speed like crazy whenever the nose is not pointing level or up. Deploying full crow, I had to overshoot the LZ several times as the speed was just too fast. I finally landed by keeping her low all the way to the treestop at the far right of the slope and coming in with full crow on, even then she settle down all the way to the left of the slope. ...Phew ! ...maybe I should consider 90 degrees flap instead of the 70 degrees I currently have.
Will post the full setup specs and settings when I get home this evening.
