My own research done earlier indicates that motor angle is zero for this plane. That's the setup for the neu 1512G on 18" anyway.

You may want to do a comparison check with the e-Ginger. Same mh32 platform, X tail, a reasonable comparison in flight character in power mode. Not to mention you were the builder of one not long ago.

Flaps max angle I opine required is 60deg. And really much used at finals for this plane. The airbrakes will definitely shorten the landing.

Radio wise, until see it in person, it's too mental for me using different radio. Evo was more intuitive.

                      Hi Terry,

Tomorrow I may be flying at the mosque field, but only in the afternoon after 2. Hope there won't be any kite flyers at that time though.

                      Cheers,
                      Adnan

@sunstorm: Cularis? Sure it's large and motorised. But a beer cooler with a 12x6 would get more penetration.

Flew her today. She really a beauty.

First flight lasted for 5min only. The take off was good had about 840watt, 60.5amp on a 4S. I needed to push the elevator down to keep the climb at 45deg, she wants to pull a 60+deg but I don't think I have the power to do that. Even at a 45 deg climb, it got up pretty quick. As I level off, did some elevator and ailerons trim. I came down after 5min (too much adrenaline), not brakes and no crow. Once i got into ground effects, it didnt want to come down. I had to push it down.

After cooling down, I decided to have another flight. Once I got to height, I switch to thermal setting, she pick out the thermal with wagging of her wings. Adnan told me to turn back and once i got in, she started to climb. She went into a steep banking without loosing height. After hanging in the thermal for a while, I decided to check out my other setup. I hit the crow switch and it balloon up which I predicted (I didn't mix and elevator input as I need to know how much elevator I need to push down). I push the elevator down and it stop in mid-air, no stalling. Next I check out the airbrakes, sweet man slows the huge girl well. After a couple of passes, I decide to take her down, on final, the airbrake is fantastic I can land on a dime.

Now waiting for Pang to post the video of the flight.

Poor Adnan, someone stole his bungee spike while he was using it.
Someone disconnected the bungee clip, pull the spike and disappear. I really cannot believe it!
