Using it for my 1/8 buggy and 1/10 mtr truck..I am considerin the hitec hs-645Mg....isit good ??cos the torque is abt where i req...
It's 'good enough' with 9.6kg/s at 6V. Up to you to decide. Want more torque, a bit more ex. Then can go for HS945 (10.6kg/s @ 6V), HS-6985 (12.4kg/s 2 6V) or big mutha HSC5955TG (24kg/s @ 6V)!
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.
You will suffer with the standard servo on the buggies.
First the throttle cannot close properly due to the insufficient torque to return center. Next, it will not have enough torque to pull the brake.
When you get a high torque servo, get a high speed one. 645MG is slow. When the bug is in the air, the response time is slow(when the buggy is nose down, you can't bring it up fast enough), you can't handle it as well as a fast throttle.
Go for the Sanwa VBs' and Vxs'. They are the best money can get you. Hitecs are good for planes, but on buggies, they dun perform as well.... They tend to lose centering.
Losers whine about their best. Winners date the Prom Queen.
Most people talk a lot, only few are up for the moment.
