Dear friends
I have successfully update the software of the GT3B/C or the Hobby K i n g GTX3 surface radio. With the update, the features that now can be found on a $50 radio is now easily comparable or even better then a $400 branded one. Below is a brief description of the software feature. Those interested can on how to do it can drop me a PM.

Lap Counter
Advance Features

Low Power Alarm
Max EPA allowed (100-150%)
ST and TH Dead zone
Key Beep (ON/OFF)
Long Press Delay (Long press lets a switch have more functions)
Default Setting reset
All Model Reset
Calibration Menu
Key Test Menu
Channel Speed (all channels)
Mixing
The New firmware comes with Dual ESC mixing and 4WS Mixing features. The mixs are simply enabled via a menu. The mixs can be controlled in numerous ways, in which it is setup in the KEY mapping menu.
Dual ESC allows for dig, even mix, and bias/proportional mixing. There is also a special feature for Dual ESC steering, for boats, tanks, etc.
4WS does the same thing as Dual ESC, rear/front only, even mix, bias/protional mixing. However there is a CRAB function that can be applied which will reverse on of the channels to give crab mixing
Multi Postion
Multi Position is a spectacular feature. What Multi Position is, is it allows you to have up to 8 independent positions, and to be able to cycle through them in what ever way you want with a switch. Which is great for mechanical digs, trannies etc. So you no longer have to go lock, free wheel, 4wd. you can do lock, 4wd, free wheel, or any combo!
Key Mapping
Key mapping does all the magic, its abit confusing at first when programming, but quite easy once you get a grasp on whats going on.
Trims/3 position switches
On the GT3B there are two 3 position switches and 2 (2) button switches. All of which can be considered a 3 position switch, referred to TRIMS in the manual. These switches can control
Trim
Dual Rates
Expo
Channels
Sub Trim
Mixes
Multi Position
Steering Speed
Channel Speed
Now each one of thes functions can be controlled in many ways, here are the options
Momentary
Key Must be pressed to change value...left e. point, center, right e.point
No Long Keys
Each key press will change its function...according to step rate and other options, if you press and hold the key nothing happens
Auto Repeat
Each key press will change its function...according to step rate and other options, if the key is pressed and held it will continue to increase by its step rate.

There are many more options to fine tune the above options, such as opposite reset, reverse, previous value, etc.
Buttons
There are afew buttons on the GT3B, But only one i'd suggest for use is the channel 3 button...Also all of the Trims can be separated into two separate buttons if needed. The functions Buttons can control are as follows
Channels (e point to e point)
Channel Reset
Crab on/off
Dig Mix (rear to front dig, but can be set to do even mix and dig)
Multi Position
