    Building a touring car track

Ok. So, how does one go about building a (CHEAP AND SIMPLE) touring car track? Something that is non-permanent, i.e., can be set up and put away easily.

Also, any idea where to get ideas for a track layout?

    Thank you!

an abandoned carpark would be good.
Just add cones, dots , or some pvc and viola

But then, is there any abandon carpark in SG?

Hmm. Thanks, but I not running on asphalt. I have access to those colourful basketball surfaces and it's as big as 2 basketball courts. I need to be able to remove the props as quickly and easily as possible because other people want to use the area.

The cones and dots are a possibility. What else can I use for marking out the track?

Rope. thick ropes. They used that at the last race at Penang.

u can get those white tape with red strip on it from hardware store
those commonly used in construction site

and tied it between those cones and ya ready to race.

Hmm. Not sure what surface it is. Anyway, the red/white tape sounds feasible. Thick ropes to mark out boundaries and turns = pretty darn heavy.

                Thanks for suggestions. Any others?
