why not? just need to "modify" the wire so that it has a z connector... or something like that.. must go sim lim find some wires liow..

As I recall, you quote err.. there is a compartment to charge 8 'AA' batteries and a female connector for the 7.2v 6 cell batt.

So where you get the 6.0V for the hump Rx battery from? Use the 7.2V output to charge your 6.0V?

The hump back pack is a 5-cells and that translate to 5 X 1.2V = 6.0V.

I know this already...

Actually can still use your 6-cell charger to charge your 5-cell batt, but got to do it manually. Connect a voltmeter across the battery and when your cell reach around 7.5-8.0V, switch off your charger. If you do not have a voltmeter, switch it off when it is hot say around 40 degC. But of-course the charging quality is not as good as a delta-peak charger.

Get a cheap delta peak charger like Hitec CG-340 and power it up with your PC. Rotor selling for S$70 or less.
