Can this model be hooked up with another good 2.4 TX?

Just wondering if I can just take out the RX and changed to those like futaba or spectrum?

Bro.. the receiver and transmitter is Thunder Tiger's Ace 2.4 Ghz unit. I believe they are not compatible with either of the Futaba or spectrum.

However the Ace is a pretty good unit. I had 3 of these receivers currently on my car, buggy and crawler. But I bought the 10 memory Ace version instead so that I can use a single transmitter for up to 10 cars.

Receiver cost about $75 each.
