    Brushless Minizilla

Just checking, how many people out there actually have BL setup on your Minizilla?

Wanna know what's your motor and ESC combination, pinion setup, cell count, and your avg run time.

    Thanks.

Total cost of the Mamba system was about S$180 inc. shipping. Take note that you also have to change your servo, and RX. The motor is too powerful, I already busted one servo. I haven't got a chance to really test out the run time or max speed. Not time at the moment. Hopefully, today I can do it.

So it wasn't free shipping huh?

What is the kv of the brushless?
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

Wah........FAST! I was kind of deciding between 4200 or 5400 coz I've got a Duratrax Mini Quake too. And future MiniZilla.

6.0Kg is more than enuf for your MiniZilla. The good thing abt the Zilla is you can use a standard sized servo, so a standard Hitec 425 like servo is already 'high torque' for MiniZilla.

Got this quote from BPP in relation to Mini-T. Hope it helps. They sort of recommended lower Kv BLs for MT application.

Mamba 3600 - High Torque Low RPM motor. This motor is the perfect choice for high cell counts and for MiniT's running large tires or monster truck conversions. Use 7-13 cells or 3-4 li-poly cells.

Mamba 4200 - excellent mix of Torque and Speed. Extremely versatile as this motor will yield stock speeds with low cell counts yet simply adding more cells will greatly increase speeds without fear of damaging the motor. Use 5-12 cells or 2-4 Li-poly cells.

Mamba 5400 - High Speed motor while still retaining excellent torque, this motor will be one of the most popular due to its greater speed on lower cell counts. Be sure to take advantage of this motors power by using a 16-19t pinion and 58t spur when using 2 cell li-poly packs or 6 or less Nimh cells. Use 5-10 cells or 2-3 Li-poly cells.

                  Cheers!
