    Steering EPA Question...

    Hi,
A newbie question. Not too sure if my understanding of EPA is correct. If I set my left/right steering EPA to 75%, does it mean my steering servo can now only travel 75% of its max value? Thnx

Yes, if u set it to 75%, therefore servo travel will be at 75%.
If u set yr (D/R) to 100%, therefore servo travel will be at 100% (more for understeer car) (less for oversteer car)

Hope u'll understand my poor english.

    Thanks
    Eric

Hm... I think D/R is the overall steering throw left and right.
      60 Degree = 100%

Where EPA is End Point Adjustment, which you could further customise the throw of your left steer and right steer.

      Left 30%
      Right 30%

Due to some unforeseen circumstances or setup issue, some EPA on right and left might not be balanced.

      Hope that helps.

EPA for car usually set L and R same..

If you need a lot of EPA differences for steering, something is wrong.

Use TRIM to adjust centering of wheel at neutral first, then adjust EPA.

Of course provided the servo horn is installed as center as possible.

Thanx for the replies. Asking because my servo seems to have the same swing even though I set L/R EPA at 75%. Will test it further this weekend. Think I really got a bad lemon...

Have other problems with batteries as well. Can only accept Sanyo Eneloop and no other brands. Will send it back to Stargek once I confirm it to be bad.
