Anybody do a mid tank mod for savage?

anybody do this mod to savage here?

I have done the mod on the fuel tank, I am usng Tamiya Nitrage fuel tank, 2 aluminium post n 2 aluminium bracket.

May I know wads the advantage of this mod?

I used to have this half tank lean problem with the original tank, it means the first half tank the engine run rich n the 2nd half tank the engine run lean, don u have this issue? If u didn't have this issue, then dun bother
