Need help on dampers

Hi people i am new in this hobby, recently bought a RC car (TT01 chasis)
and bought a hop up damper in the net . but it didnt come with instruction manual .
could anyone help me out , does it need damper oil ? and the different springs whats the difference[IMG][/IMG]

The dampers will need oil, and the difference in springs is
the hardness.

Hi,the shock absorber need oil to regulate the damping for your vehicle. If you are getting the damper oil from Tamiya. It good to start with the medium weight. This should provide you with good damping action as compare to the stock one. Experiment with different shock oil and piston to achieve desire result. Remember, the shock absorber function is to stop the spring from bouncing too long, so to give your car a better grip on the road. Maybe you can search the net on how damper work. Take extra when handling the shock shaft. It should be very smooth and shining.
