    Help a starter 2 choose :)

    Hello there guys
im intersting in buying a 1/10 scale gas-nitro rc car
    my problem`s are the follow
i have found a store that i can buy a old version of Kyosho of V-one RRR kit for 400usd is it worth it cause its kind of old as a model ?( its a new car but forgoten 2 be sold )

i was also searching the web and i found abt serpent 710 & 720 whats your opinion abt those ?

my friend bought a HPI 18ss+ but with shiping the price went 380 euro that was a nice kit but still the price is 2 high i think

im actually looking a rc car that i can start with and can have future on it(upgrades) dont play for 3-4 months and then need new car...

is there any other kit that i should look ?
not intersting abt RTR cause i have heard from lots of people that are not that good in the parts that they have on em and need lot of upgrades in the near future

also if u can give me a link that i can order from there or go visit a store from close would be nice
i have search the web and found 2-3 links only

    thanks for your time

If you are looking for kyosho you have to go to toycar

            Stargek deals in Tamiya

Bk has less nitro to see

S'wan Model & Trading deals mostly off road i suppose. Hobao parts alot.

HMW Hobbies has all the Hong nor stuff

            Taising deals in HPI

there is also Team magic, which is quite popular. Not sure moved where

Drop by to turf city and chk out the GP on road tracks also.

                        Hi,
400USD for the kit is pretty expensive. Are you talking about the price you found in singapore? If I am not wrong, that Model is about 2 yrs old.

Personally, I like Kyosho and Mugen. Low running cost and design to race with stock kit. With some other brands you really have to figure out what's wrong with the kit, tune it, mod it to make it race worthy. And these could be branded nitro cars used by some world champion. So you have to be careful.

By the way with 400USD, you are opened to brand new car kits.

                            Hi,
If I am not wrong, the RRR was going for less than S$450 and that was quite sometime ago...

Mugen parts are cheap to replace. I am not sure about your location, but at least it is true in Singapore.

                            I have a MTX3 with lots of spares and a spare chasis.(also MRX3)
If you are interested, I can let you have it for a cheap price. Not playing them as I am into Heli and planes now.
