GP or EP?

hi all,
i'm deciding whether to go for GP or EP 1/10 cars...cant make up my mind.

GP: faster, power, sound, smell, higher maintenance?
EP: easier and cheaper maintenance?

EP is more popular?

what brand shld i go for if GP or EP?

btw, a newbie here, just wanted some advises...

both classes are not cheap to maintain as required.
But then, its depend on what class you are more to it . Do drop by to those track whereby, you can know more about both class compare.
As there are beginner and Pro kit to choose from....
I personlly, suggest go to Pro kit as you can learn more rather then those beginner Kit.

Pro kits are too exp to start out with...dont think i'll spend so much initially as i won't know whether this hobby will stays with me...

imho, thats already an indication of where you will be in this hobby

but if you buy the "cheap" stuff do note that trying to sell them in order to upgrade is next to impossible..

why not visit the tracks where the EP and GP are played then talk to the guys and see whats its like, maybe you can get lucky and they will let you have a go

oh yeah, used pro kist are being sold at a fraction of what they cost nbew so thats a great way to start

agree with Dirt...
get a used Pro-kit which are more afforable likewise when i also Just started.
As when u are ready to get a new one for urself, least the used one still have some market-value, thus, you can save in the end.
reason of getting a pro-kit is there are a lot of setting you can done with it and thru that, you can learn faster and drive happier then Beginner-Kit.
Go and have a look at those ppl playing at the track and ask from them what are the Pro and con in either GP or EP.
