    Removal of Paint on Models

    Hi Guys.

I'm new here and hope that my thread is appropriate in this forum. I've spray painted my scale model car into some colour. Due to over spraying, there are bubbles all over, trying to remove the paint now. However, Thinner will 'eat' into plastic whereas Turpentine is not effective on the spray paint. Can I know what shd I try or use to remove the paint without damaging the car body plastic?

I have actually use nitro fuel to remove the paint
    works wonderfully,
i used it on a tamiya 1/24 scale model. put a little on the tissue paper and wipe away gently.
it will leave an oily residue due to the castor oil, but u can easily wash it away with soap.

what happens is the nitro removes the paint but it evaporates pretty fast.
i'm assuming it doesn't really harm the plastic since there is SO MANY plastic parts on an nitro car.

but note try with a little bit...
but dun go and buy nitro fuel juz to remove paint..... there cost 40++ a galloon so they are not the most economical way... i juz happen to have it lying around the house.
