Besides the default 14mm HEX BAJA tires and rim, has anyone tried other combinations that looks really nice and mean?

    Comment

I have recently gotten myself some new white DISH 17mm HEX wheels and some tires that looks like DIRTBONZ but in my opinion the gribs are the same is definitely much cheaper. I got it off RacingWerkz located in TurfCity.

BTW, i have completed my brushless project for my E-Zilla. Will be doing so runs and photos soon.

My Brushless setup is Lehner Basic 4200, capable of 700W of power with Mamba Max ESC accompanied by a Quake Digital BEC. Will be running with TrakPower 4900 2S2P to get Super Duper long running time. However i do note that both the ESC and Motor gets super duper hot as well. hai... Even though i have good fans for both of them, i will need to start thinking on how to improve the cooling...

Next Project - Which has been pending for super long, is to go 4 wheel steering. I already have the rear steering kit for months just haven't got the time to sit down and finish it.

Wait for my picts of the brushless setup.

      Cheers
      Cool

        Yo CoolMX,
You know if there is any available chassis mod for Single Brushless System plus Lipo setup for the E-Savage? I'm thinking if i buy the Esavage, i'd like to instal Novak HV maxx 4.5R combo and maybe a MaxAmp HV Lipo

          Hi Lplate

The exiting motor mounting plate would be good enough, which is exactly what all of us are doing. Just mount 1 brushless motor on 1 side and tape up the other side. Alternatively, you can use a dremer to modify the mounting plate and mount the single brushless motor in the centre of the mounting plate.

I will be doing that if i can find time in the future, for now, i really just want to enjoy the speed i can get from my Lehner Brushless setup.

BTW, why not wait for Monster Max ESC instead of Novak, it has been rumor that Monster Max should be out by end year as they are already testing the ready for production version.

          Cheers
          Cool

            sorry to intrude,

FYI..HV will not fit stock E-zilla.

you'd need to hack a little off the chassis plate.
            see attachment.
            for sale

              Thanks CoolMX and overtki11,
It will probably be awhile before I consider buying the Esavage heheh.
But was interested to see how it would all fit.

If only they sold the Esavage kit. Wont be so wasted to convert to brushless and have nothing to do with the stock motors and batteries.

                Here are the picts to my completed project on going brushless, the list will be as follows;

                1) Lehner Brushless 4200 Basic. Not the best, if only i have the Lehner 3100XL.
                2) Mamba Max (Again if only i have waited for the Monster Max)
                3) TrakPower 4900mAh 2S2P (my only consolation)
                4) Custom bracket for mounting the Mamba Max ESC and the ECS fan.

                Cheers

Is there any bodyshell that is slightly smaller than the stock GT shell and similar to it that can fit on the E-savage?

The stock GT shell seems to be a little too big for the E-savage.

Tot you should just use the stock Baja shell? It looks really small and nice. BTW, Integy is selling all the Bling Bling parts for E-savage already. Infact it is full truck conversion, if you can afford. yeah...

                    Cheers

Can anyone recommend me a slightly larger set of wheels that can be fitted on the E-savage? The stock wheels seem a little too small for the chassis.

BTW, is there any slightly longer arms for the E-savage? I want to have a width of around 40cm for slightly better cornerings. Best still if there is any offset wheels for the E-savage then I wun have to look for longer arms already.

Hi Guys, where do you get your Novak Super Duty XR Esc from? I am also looking for heatsink for motors and where would be a good place to get them too?

Forgot to mention that I want something that looks like the GT truck version.

BTW, I saw the HPI hummer body. Where can I get it from locally?
