      Apologies for not being clear...

What i meant to ask was, Is the e maxx a good truck for a beginner to handle? I used to run the Tamiya TA 04 some years back, and now I'd like a change from on-road to off-road. Its been a while since i've played...

The e-maxx is one awesome truck. I used to run my old e-maxx with 3600 NIMH and it gives around 20mins run time on the stock titan motors.
After that, i changed to a 15 turn Trinity Monsters and the e-maxx screamed and still maintaining run time.
After all, it's a maxx. Just change the chassis plate and tranny, dump in a TRX 2.5 and you got yourself a T-Maxx conversion! I loved it so much that i used to own both!
