Heres a qns to all those pro out there. In stock racing can tt-01 compete with ta-05 in the same race or there is different category.

for stock race there are two types, 23T or mabuchi 27T

for 23t, tt01 being a beginner kit, it performance might not lose out to a TA05,an expert kit. In a local race, i ever seen a racer drove his TT01 among the pro kits like HPI,Yokomo,Tamiya to a podium finish. So is all up to skills and motor.

for 27t, in sg only tt01 are using this motors to race in a individual class, in tamiya qualifying cup or smething like tat,it is a series race. All racer will be using the same motor,batt and esc, and only allowed Tamiya parts therefore it is equal playing ground and all depend on skills. The winner of the series is able to earn a free trip to oversea to represent SG, 2006 will be in Thailand.

if u talking about the Tamiya qualifying race, tis is nt age limit...
u juz need to use all the legal stuff den u can race liao
