    U better see this 2007 speed record for r/c hydro before stating a record breaker as ur thread title............



    BTW, from the video, it does not look any faster than 45-50mph.

      I am not gonna compare to those pro boaters.. anyway... Bare in mind that my all my equipments are far from pro's
      you know it if you have detective eyes from the vid.

        No problem.

        Better invest in a GPS system if you wish to break ur own records. At least you will know the accurate units. For me, I use a Garmin Forerunner 101 gps. Cheap and good.

            If u search for 2nd hand/re-furbished units in ebay or Amazon, it can be as cheap as less than S$100.

                Voltron GPS Data Logger
                Small & light weight. Once you turn it on and start recording, it stores the maximum speed and altitude recorded during the flight, distance flown and time flown. Mine came with a small 2S battery, but the production unit can be powered from the receiver.

                    As long as it logs the max speed, it works. Just waterproof it, apply silicone to both ends of the shrink wrap and it should keep the water out of the electronics.
