Just maiden this today.
The boat can handle both the included batteries and 6s 5000mah Lipo straight out of the box. No modification to the motor or esc is needed.

With the included Metal hydride battery, the boat can be very manageable even for a newbie like me.

With the 6s Lipo, this boat really screams and there is neither tendency for it "bounce" nor rock at high speed.

This is one awsome boat!

All in all, Kit + shipping + GST(damm!!!)= $600+.
I suspect the current price will be somewhat higher.
