I have been looking at their CAT for very very long time already. They are korean and makes beautiful boats.

Yes, its also korean. The guys in the states buy only the drive hardware of this hydrolift due to its scale look.

But for CAT, you cant fight the beauty of a Hanspeter hand-made hull. Absolutely Swiss engineering.

thats the rcmk hydro vx, petrol engine.

it is a hydro with a outrigger footprint. thats why it can go about 120km
on a 5hp rcmk engine.

note the tight and narrow space for the engine, you can only put
a rear exhaust engine, rear header, either a zen rear exhaust or rcmk r254, either ways, both engines will set u back about 1k each.

the total set up will be 2.5k to 3k.

i also went nuts when i first saw the hydro vx but went with the insane mobster gen 4 which has a similar design but has the flexibility to install any engine u wish.

price wise about the same but more known and more flexible.
