    The report

    And here is the report:

Causes and Troubleshooting report of the company Schulze Elektronik GmbH:

In designing the future-has been tested 40,300 of these in addition to smaller engines also 14s LiPo with 15Ah and a Plettenberg Predator 37-6 with 3-blade propeller with at times even more than 300 A continuous current. Permanent full-throttle or throttle operation, start / stop operation, etc. have been properly completed and released to the sale.

Therefore we could not explain the failure in the 233er first until we had the opportunity to examine the "leftovers" of the 233er too.

When operating with the Lehner 3060 / 7 we had found after some measurements the problem: The anti-lightning protection was opened in semiconductor operations.
In other words, this means: ALL-blocking capacitors have been disconnected from the power section, more or less strong and could no longer protect this!

It has set off a chain reaction:
The fact that the anti-flash-FETs in the semiconductor operations were controlled, these were too hot and caused a complete circuit of all the FET connection legs.
This short circuit in the anti-flash-FETs congested then the internal power supply of 40,300 which provides, among other things, the driver IC for the power amplifiers.
Thus, the amplifier FETs of the three motor phases were also not properly controlled.
The FET amplifier is now also made a short circuit and caused) by a short circuit on the power supply (battery pack.

Since we have this problem where for some time on the market for our future small-xl-40,160 in connection with the Lehner 3060 / 7 was not known - except that he had just shut down later because of congestion - could the problem only on interference lie in controlling the long-trace to the Anti-Blitz FETs on the (mechanical larger) 40,300.

Why not occurred, the destructive effect on the aircraft engine, but only to the boat's engine for light gas shocks, we could ultimately clarify: The generator voltage of the boat engines at low speeds lower than for aircraft engines, so it is not optimal commutation came with high current spikes, which caused the described interference.

A modified commutation software, including the specific characteristics of the engine at low rotational speeds greater consideration and a decoupling of the Anti-Blitz Ansteuerleitung FETs with an off large areas and RC circuits have permanently eliminated the problem.

In testing the boat was with two LMT 3060 / 7 engines, each with four parallel-10s 5000 mAh (ie, two 10s with 20 Ah) and Carbon60-fitted steel castings.

We excuse ourselves once again from all the affected users for the inconvenience.
Who us the 40,300 has not yet been sent to the change on the hardware / firmware version 3 should take them - to prevent harm - no way in service rather send us this rebuilding.

    Yours sincerely
