Hi Guyz,I reckon as more Fresh Water Open Space up n comin;
Tis water sport activities shud be emerging as one of the slow but sturdy rc hobby that newbies would like to try on.
What is required several parties or groups able to organise a race and establised a outlet for building and RTR boat set for beginners till advanced boaters.
E-commerce do play vital role to attain parts and boat models frm overseas.
Tentatively,Click and mortar for power boating currently nt available in sg scene.

I feel too much time, money and effort is spent on engine performance in the early stages that some forget to enjoy the hobby. Thus when they can't get what they want they loose interest.

The local shops will support if they see the need. They definitely would want the extra biz.

U can boat at Bedok Reservoir for EP.

I just tried Kallang River on Sat and its also good for EP. No worries abt stranded boat, lots of other boats to the rescue.

Shall agree wif you,dude.
Several times my nitro boat got stranded in the middle and managed to get the help frm this dragon boaters to retrieve my nitro boat for me. So Kind and thoughtful of them. I LIKE !
They even asked the cost of my boat for fun, i guess; when they return the boat to me.

One occasion when i was controlling the nitro boat at optimum speed frm behind their dragon boat, tis group of dragon boaters stop rowing as the entire boat crew was looking at my boat overtaking their speed and circling while the frt deck captain continuously shouting "PUSH,PUSH,PUSH" but no action taken !

I thanked them first and told them the tag. They (Youghters)seems surprised
Other occasion at the Oasis,hv to pump my rubber dinghy to retrieve my nitro boat.
