    Spektrum system can wrk for boats?

    Hi, i found that using Spektrum is not that good for boat izzit true? i lost control before.
    Mugen Mrx2, HW 4274, HW Xerun150esc 6s
    SCRT, HW Sct motor, HW Xerun120esc 2s
    Team Driver for HobbyWing, Acorn racing & ManiacRC

    I have been using spektrum for mine, no problems so far. Make sure ur rx antenna is at least 4" extended from the hull.

      Antenna

      hi Adranli, i am trying out the 2.4ghz on my sailboat, kindly advise me on how to extent the antenna 4 inches above the hull, my is AR6100 DSM2 Microlite 6-Channel Receiver .Thanks in advance.

        U cannot use airplane rx for boat. U will need to get Spektrum surface rx for boat.

          I'm using the SR3000 rx as in the attached picture. More than 4" of the wire extends out of the hull. Never had any problems with it at all.


          Check out the pic of my mono hull boat and u can see the short antenna sticking out of the boat in a yellow plastic antenna tube.
