What other prop size can the stock volvo nimbus take other than the normal
42 X P1.2? Where else beside JH is this available?

An Octura X438 or X440 may work well. Both are 1.4x pitch, 38 and 40 mm diameter respectively.

Things to note about these Octura props are:

(1) they both have a 3/16 inch bore so you will need to find some suitable K&S brass or aluminum tubing (JH, NTC or Rotor) to fatten up the Nimbus' 4mm prop shaft to make them fit;

(2) the props are cast in beryllium copper and will need to be sharpened and balanced before use (sharpen the props in a tub of water because the beryllium copper dust is very very bad for the lungs );

(3) they are very hard to find in SG - most bros import them from online vendors (e.g. Offshore Electrics, etc.) and costs around S$20+ a piece shipped (you can put up a post to see if other boaters have one to sell ).

Somehow the stock prop is still the best, I have tried a few other prop from 40mm to 45mm 1.4p and none seems to work well.

Thanks doraemon and sg_villian. By the way any where else can get the stock prop as JH is out of stock. No much of nimbus boaters here...it seems.
