Throttle can't move

I am currently using Futaba's 6EXAP Rx/Tx. Attached to channels 1 and 3 are motor servos (ESCs) so that each motor can be controlled individually. Am using the MC230CR ESC (futaba). Channel 3 is supposedly throttle. However, I am unable to have much feedback from the controls. Sometimes it responds and sometimes it stalls, please help! Thanks!

ps problem lies with both channels
I am using a lead-acid 6 V batt.

u probably have to set up the esc so that it can know the neutral, trottle and reverse end point
