flex/fixed drive cable collet

another qns: do straight drive shaft use de same coupling as flex shaft??

No, they dont.

Straight shaft is a solid steel piece, good for set screw securing.

Flex shaft is made up of tiny wires, using set screw, it will split the wires so they use self securing type of coupler. The name of it slipped my mind.

Erm does anyone have a 5mm to 4mm rigid / flexi coupling to let go ?

I tink I have tis in my spares box which I purchased at Jet Hobby!!! But the drive shaft is 3.17mm if I'm not wrong.

REALLY!!?? cos i got a 3.18mm collet tt cant fixed on my 4mm flex shaft, or 3mm straight drive shaft...could i buy it from u??

Juz measured mine, motor side is 4mm, collet is 3.17mm. The opp of ur requirement.
