This cat seems to be quite popular... saw one running at PP last Sunday around 1pm (before the racing) in stock form... the owner did not seem to have a problem with radio range (he went out about 30m).

So, are you going to put twin BL motors in her?

(I had to work all day today so did not make it to PP )

Nope, no BL motor intended on tis hull yet. Although I have a Align 430L 3550KV BL motor + Himodel 40A boat ESC w/reverse seating there waiting for some action.

Will run stock motors 1st, then 400 motors.

I tink tis boat is too light for BL motors, sure to flip if go too fast.

Twin 400's would be a good start. Keep it light and it will plane cleaner and faster

Because of the length and narrow width of the twin pontoons, heavier motors and equipment will cause her to sink more and hence require a lot of power to get up on plane cleanly
