The Shockwave was history due to limitations on size for shipping.
I then got a Nitro Hammer from Towerhobbies. Came in nice shape, although the rudder was bent
apart from it everything things was quote OK.
Bad luck struk me last weekend at PP, or I was asking for trouble, cos i was running among fishing lines, so bound to get caught (and I really did). Almost sank but managed to stay afloat.
After the bath, the engine became erratic (I swear I cleaned it over and started it to dry it out completely), it would just race up and quit, no matter how far out I turn on the HSN.
Determined not to let it get the better of me, I tore the entire engine apart and rebuilt it. Miraculously, I got the idle back and the engine would run reliably...and I have already put 5 tanks into the running in.
