    3D plane set up ??

hi, i'm new to 3D flying, hovering and blar balr,
any thoughts on how to go abt setting it up?

i know the common knowledge is more up ailerons then down to produce a more axel rolls. and 10 % mix for elevator for rudder on knife edge..

how abt harrier at low speed?

    thanks.
i'm a rc sotong. And i know nuts about it.

em all those mixings totally depend on CG and your airframe

Some planes knife edge w/o any mixing needed

For more stable hariers people do mix in upward flaps with up elevator
TX:2 Sanwa Quasars , Futaba 9C super (heli)
    Gliders :JW 54 , Sprinter , Flip400 (unbuilt)
    Planes: Jumping Jack,,Zoom 4D,IFO, magic 3d,
    Helis:Feda,Zap 400

Yes, for harrier maneuvres, you need both ailerons slightly higher then usual, to prevent wingtip stalls, CG also have to be shifted back to a point where it's almost hairy/twitchy/sensitive, not trying to scare you, but usually 3D planes are very sensitive to joystick inputs.

        Halo Fuse,

most important component is your engine. Must be correct size and enough power. Must have good power to weight ratio. oversize engines dun always work. Your throttle curve must be adjusted to give good response over the entire stick movement. You need to find the throttle "sweet spot " ie. the range where the plane hovers. Prop selection must be suitable. generally a larger diameter and lower pitch than sport flying. over pitch and your plane will torque over.

Happy flying. You may need a few more spare fuselages and wings. Practice makes perfect.

          Fuse,

Try with Reflex first, you wouldn't regret!
