well i try the axi 2212/34 don't give much power in hover even use 3s 1500 20 c .well change to 2212/26 .prop apc 10 x 5 or 7.well it will give u power and perform. even on 3s 1450 12c.well mack have a good deal for that mtr.try contact him.well i use normal recv. the batt pack should be near the wing .tks .well buddy it a gd plane ,

I am running a 11x47 with the 2212 34 and its got enough power to punch out of a hover on my tantrum. running on kokam 1500mah and etec 1700mah.
maybe your plane is heavier...

I have just tested my ZZ4D. Here are the photos. The CG is located at 130mm from the leading edge of the wing. I think that the best CG should be around 120 ~ 125mm. Difficult to get it hover stablely based on my CG.
