i got a ultra micro mustang which is not working well due to the brush motor. I would like to convert it to brushless and got no idea how to? Can someone with the knowledge help me? Thanks.

I am using the AR6400 receiver to control the ESC(brushless). I only got throttle respond after half stick and i cant go full throttle. Anyone got any ideas why ? -
Brushless conversion
After doing some reading, I manage to install a brushless setup for my micro.Firstly, I throw away the brush motor and the gear , install the new motor and the new ESC (6A). Take the throttle signal from the gear port. Solder a diode in series with the bec. Done.
