Park zone F4f wildcat vs Art tech F6f hellcat

Hi All, I'm contemplating in getting my next plane. Was considering the Parkzone F4F wildcat and the art tech foldable wing f6f hellcat.

Considering the price, the wildcat is retailing at around $320
(bnf) and the hellcats around $200. The size of the wildcat is great for transporting and the cool thing about the hellcat is that the wings fold up very conveniently.

Although the price of the wildcat is $120 more, it does come with a ar5000 rx and a battery pack..I still need to get a rx and batts for the hellcat which could add up to $90.

This is going to be my first warbird, I want something that's easy to fly. If anyone has flown any of these, please let me know ur thoughts. Thanks!

I didnt know Art tech has a foldable F6F, last I checked, Jethobby is selling a version of F4U by Art Tech with foldable wings for $249, I do have a FMS F6F and I think its an awesome plane, I use 2500 mAh and its very stable, and good quality, best feature of the plane is the removable landing gear, there is a clip/locking device for u to do that, with landing strip getting harder to come by, u might need to launch by hand sometimes, thats also one of the factor I bought this plane...I think Jethobby is selling the FMS F6F for $199 PNP ver, check out the review...

Damn, after checking it again on Art tech website,..the foldable wings is a F6F afterall lol and all this time I thought that it was another F4U, anyway, I think FMS F6F is still better because its slightly bigger (wingspan 1100 mm vs 990 mm). Most planes with wingspan 1.2M and below can easily fit in the trunk of a mid size car, so the foldable wings to me is just a gimmick, besides, if u ever crash this plane (FMS F6F), I think repairing a it would be much easily than repairing one with folding wing option, well, thats just my opinion.

Wings come apart in 2 pieces, not exactly my fav but yes, I think they (Jet Hobby) also sell the kit as well, last but not least HK is selling for $99 I think, plus $20 shipping and handling (all in USD) still cheaper than Jethobby.

Actually I prefer that the wings can come apart (not during flight of course), it'll be just like my Cloudfly. Very easy to transport and hide away in the bomb shelter.

Actually Jethobby was selling it for $143 after discount, so it's still cheaper than HK at US$120 (S$150). Unless I order more planes from HK, then it's a different story.

just read on rcgroup that there were some ppl experience flexing of the wings during flight. I might just go for the parkzone wildcat if I can find one cheap or the FMS hellcat version.

Seems like thats not the only plane that flexes its wings during flight...lets add some to the list

                      Here is my list...

                      1. Kinectic 800
                      2. Cloudfly

those 2 I mentioned had wings that actually came apart during flight,..I experienced the kinectic 800 myself and I witnessed someone's cloudfly came apart at Tampines....

so anyone has any other plane to add to the list pls do so,...at least we know which plane to avoid or take note
