    Broken Futaba TX toggle switch

I broke my Futaba 10c "F" switch while I was transferring into my bag. I found that I could order the replacement switch from US, but the shipping is more expansive than the switch itself.

I will be ordering a few more pieces, anybody got broken toggle switches on their Futabas?

There are 2 positions, Long and short, and 3 position long switches available.
The cost is less than S$12 each (inclusive shipping). Exact cost, depends on the qty ordered.

    Let me know soon!

Hmmm.......can somebody confirm the parts from Sim Lim? I heard that the toggle switch has round stem, not the original flat one that you get from the US.

        Thanks!

buying anything from SimLim tower, best approach is, to bring the part there (not the whole Tx, just the switch).

And show it to every shop, hopefully one of the shop will be less busy to help you find it in their shop. Very normal to hear: "You need only 1? I am sure I have this, but I have no time to search for you now".

The last item I repaired was my imax B5 charger's push button. It took a very determined lady to look through her box of push button switches and find identical ones from it (took her about 10 minutes) to go though all the different sizes in her box.
          huh

You dun have to find something excatly the same. Just get a 2 way toggle that can fit into the existing hole. Personally, I feel the toggler is a bit too long.

The way the nic described about SLS is quite spot on. Actually, you can do your own search at SLS shops. The basement has a shop which has lots of switches. The other shop is on the 3rd storey.

Another alternative is ww.element14.cm.sg... You can do a search online. Online purchase more than $30 has free delivery. Else you can go over the counter. Service staff is super friendly. Price is expected to be more expensive.

            Good luck

              My friend,
These are "aircraft grade" toggle switches and can be bought for a few dollars at Sim Lim tower. Please do not waste money getting something just because it comes from the manufacturers. BTW Futaba does not make switches....
