OK, I'm gonna bring some cakes and stuff tomorrow too.
So you guys who are interested in DLG/SAL, do come over and take a look, and help yourselves to some cakes.
Cheers,
Adnan

I would like to thank the guys who turned up at the field just now. It was really fun seeing this many DLG/SAL flyers together.
Maybe in the future we can have a sharing session and even some friendly, simple competition (eg All up last down (AULD)).
One more kaki poisoned today. Mission accomplished
Cheers all,
Adnan
PS
Some pics and vid on the way.

Great fun today, thank you to all the kakis that made it possible! - Adnan for building & configuring my DLG, Pang and Frank for trimming assistance and pure encouragement.
Special thanks also to Frank, help me comb the two fields for my lost HP, and Bigkid at tampine field. Without their help I think I will be still wandering ard looking for it.
Lesson learnt, the plane is NOT the only thing that gets great inertia in a discus launch. Any loose item would as well! Secure them!
Lucky you still not throwing too hard yet, or else your phone will really fly out.
Cheers,
Adnan

A big thank you! to Adnan for teaching me DLG'ing.
Before I fling my flimsy and light glider, there were a bit of apprehension. Will the wings break? will the thin wing tip hold? will it glide or get speared to the ground?
Well....all the worrying were gone when Adnan took the first launch for me. Call it Discus or Slide arm launch - the force generated by the swing was tremendous. Although the launch height of my glider was not as high as the others, but I was happy that it could reach about 4-5 storey height of an apartment block, I think.
There were some issues with the Knife-Edge kind of flying of my glider during the launch instead of the normal wings level flying of the others.
There's still a lot more to learn in this new sport flying. Yes, Sports as in exercising your arm and leg muscles. I am feeling a bit sore on me right tight due to a discovery of a small muscle behind my tight, which I did not know about before.
Luckily I applied SunBlock, if not, I will be toasted.
Looking forward to the next gathering!
Some shorts of our gliders with my cellphone camera.
Neat. Lemme know where is the next one. I just got a dlg! (muahahaha)
