    Carbon fiber and epoxy resin

    Hi
I airfreighted my new Avionik F5B-10 2000 to Singapore yesterday, but unfortunately it had some transport damages. The transport box was squeezed so hard that the main wing spar broke. Also the fuselage was broken and need to be repaired.
So now I am in need of some carbon fiber cloth or strings, as well as casting epoxy resin. Checked with the shops at Fook Hai, but non of them could help.
So can anyone please tip me where these things can be sourced in Singapore?

    Here is the plane:

    Best regards
    Jarle

Is your shipping covered by insurance? The damages sounds serious enough. Try to claim if possible. It is better to seek advise from your exporter before doing anything to the model or they may void your warranty.

          Thanks guys!
I bought the plane by a private person, and new ones are not easy to get.
And I doubt the transport company will cover the damages. The airline company even refused to give me FRAGILE-stickers. Probably to protect themsleves from liabilities.
So the best will be to get the right remedies and fix it myself.

I work in airfreight. You should have brought it in by those Courier services. DHL/FEDEX/UPS. Buy a bit of insurance.

these big boys always pay claims in full if insurance is bought. and they take damage on outer packaging seriously.

on the other hand, there is not totally no money back for your plane. You need to write in to the airline stating letter with intention to claim. However, the official rate for liability as to passenger's baggage isn't high. Depends if you free enough to write in only.

Note to self: Must stop buying too much stuff.
